Imphal, March 01 2013: Imphal West disrict police commandos arrested two sympathisers of the UNLF from Kwakeithel Thounaojam Leikai on February 27 around 1.45pm.Imphal West SP, in a statement, identified the arrested individuals as Pukhrambam Sushilo alias Boycha Meitei (26) s/o P Subhaschandra Meitei of Wangjing Lamding Elangbam Leikai and Laishram Wanglen Singh (24) s/o L Ajitkumar of Wangjing Wangkhei.
In another incident, the district commandos arrested one sympathiser of PLA/RPF, identified as Naorem James alias Methun (24) s/o N Inaobi of Moreh Khunou Ward No 9, from the western side of Khoyathong Pukhri Achouba on Feb 28 around 12.30pm.The same day around 3pm, the district commandos arrested one Heikrujam Dashubanta alias Chinglen (19) s/o (L) H Neta Singh of Komlakhong Makha Leikai, a hard core cadre of PREPAK (Pro), in front of Singjamei Super Market, the statement said.
