Imphal, March 02 2013 : An 11-day ‘festival of Khongjom Parva’ commenced from today at Government Dance College Mini Auditorium, Palace Compound wherein closing function of the Khongjom Parva workshop was also held this afternoon.

Both the events were organised by the Department of Art and Culture under the aegis of Easter Zonal Cultural Centre, Kolkata and attended by renowned Khongjom Parva artiste (Padmashri) N Ibemni Devi and Art and Culture, Manipur director Dr K sobita Devi as the chief guest and functional president respectively.

As a part of the programme, senior Khongjom Parva artistes performed.
