Ukhrul, May 16 2013: Taking up necessary action to face any eventuality, in the event of Mahasen Volcano hitting Ukrhul, a district level officer meeting was held today at the office chamber of the Deputy Commissioner .
During the meeting, it was decided that a control room would be opened 24 hours a day to meet any emergency and three persons have been deputed to be on the round the clock duty.
An emergency number, 03870265938 has also been opened.
