Imphal,June 04 2013: A pedestrian was killed after being hit by a passenger carrier Jeep today along Uripok-Kangchup road at Uripok Polem Leikai around 10am.Reports culled from the spot said that the pedestrian identified as Oinam Ibomcha (46) of Lamshang Bazar was hit by a passenger carrier Jeep (MN-03P/0309) heading to Singda Dam from Imphal.
He succumbed to injury at RIMS hospital where he was rushed for treatment.
Along with the confiscation of the Jeep, a case has been registered at Imphal PS.
