Imphal, March 01 2014 : The All Tribal Contractors’ Association, Manipur urged the State Government to release the long pending bills of 2000-2014.In a joint statement issued by the ATCAM’s General Secy, James Lamkang and President, LS Asheli, contractors in all the five hill Districtshad invested a huge amount of capital into the contracts and the works were duly completed.
However, the Government did not pay any heed to the contractors’ grievances.
The statement also expressed its disatisfaction over the monopolization of the concerned authority while writing the CDAs.
ATCAM demanded that the Government release the pending bills immediately before the association agitates.
