Imphal, February 22 2014 : The Manipuri Literary Society has organised the International Mother Language Day observance programme at its office located at Assembly Road here yesterday with its President Samulailatpam Prahlad Sharma as the chief guest.
Maibam Tolen Singh and Sagolsem Lanchenba spoke on the background of the International Mother Language Day observance and the need to promote Manipuri language, according to a statement.
