Imphal, February 06 2014: A man who went to Manipur river for bathing on Tuesday at Sugnu Pangal Leirak was found dead yesterday.
Shijagurumayum Narendra alias Naren alias Pakhanglakpa (53) of Naoremthong Khullem Leikai but staying at Sugnu Pangal Leirak was found dead in Manipur river near Sugnu Awang Leikai at around 6.50 pm yesterday.
He went to the river for bathing at around 11.30 am of February 4 but he submerged in the water and could not be traced.
The corpse has been handed over to family members after post mortem at JNIMS today.
Narendra is survived by his wife and a son.
