Cape Town – MTN SA announced on Saturday that it would not renew its sponsorship agreement with Ajax Cape Town when the contract expires in June this year.
“As a normal business practice, MTN embarks on a review of its sponsorship portfolio,” chief marketing officer at MTN Brian Gouldie said in a statement.
“We take into consideration the alignment of each of the sponsored properties to business objectives and thus we not renewing the contract with Ajax.”
