Deeply hurt by what’s going on in AAP, refuse to be drawn into this ugly battle: Arvind Kejriwal



New Delhi: Finally speaking up over the rift going on within the Aam Aadmi Party, Delhi chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal tweeted his displeasure over the turn of events.


“I am deeply hurt and pained by what is going on in the party. This is betrayal of trust that Delhi posed in us. I refuse to be drawn in this ugly battle.Will concentrate only on Delhi’s governance,(sic)” Kejriwal tweeted.


His tweet comes just a day ahead of the party’s National Executive meeting which is scheduled to held on Wednesday.

Kejriwal tweeted that the infighting in the party is betrayal of the trust that people posed in them and said that he will only concentrate on governance in Delhi.



The rift within the party is reaching a new high. In yet another attempt to bring down party member Yogendra Yadav, loyalists of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal have released a recorded conversation with a journalist who held an informal breakfast meeting with Yadav.


As reported by The Indian Express, it is being alleged by AAP that during the meeting, Yadav gave critical party information to the media. The conversation was supposed to be off the record but was recorded by secretely. The allegations against Yadav were made by AAP’s Delhi Secretary Dilip Pandey.
