New Delhi: There is no end to mudslinging in the war-torn Aam Aadmi Party. In yet another allegation in a series of attacks, former party MLA Rajesh Garg has alleged that fake calls were made to AAP MLAs with party chief Arvind Kejriwal’s consent.

These calls were faked to be from Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley’s office. The calls were reportedly made offering money to support the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

“Amount of Rs 10 crore was offered to us for supporting BJP. The calls were received from Nitin Gadkari and Arun Jaitley and were made by Arvind Kejriwal’s consent from private numbers. We have evidence regarding the same,” Garg claimed.

Rajesh Garg claimed that the fake calls were received from Nitin Gadkari and Arun Jaitley’s office.

The AAP has been divided into two factions with some members supporting Kejriwal while the others in support of rebels leaders Yogendra Yadav and Prashant Bhushan.

Yadav and Bhushan were ousted from the party’s National Executive on March 28.
