Imphal, April 03 2013: Noted environmentalist Dr Kh Shamungou has been appointed as the Chairman of the state Level Environment Impact Assessment Authority by the Ministry of forest and Environment.
The Ministry also approved nomination of directorate of Environment’s director M Homeswor and Manipur University Prof (Chemistry) M Rajmohan as the Authority’s member secretary and member respectively.
