Thoubal, January 30 2013: A one-day block level cultural festival was held at Arong Ningthou Haraobung, Thoubal Athokpam today.
The festival was organised by the Nehru Yuva Kendra, Thoubal in collaboration with Meehourol Inat Sintam Shanglen, Thoubal Haokha.
The inaugural function of the festival was graced by Councillor of Thoubal Municipal Council, Lourembam (O) Suchitra Devi and retired Headmaster Athokpam Kula Singh as the chief guest and president respectively.
Heirok Sanatorium Seva Ashram bagged the first position in the folk dance competition while Kiyam Siphai Wangmataba Development Association was adjudged the 2nd position winner.
