Imphal, December 30 2013: VK Duggal who would be sworn in as the Governor of Manipur arrived at Imphal this afternoon.
The new Governor who replaced former Governor Dr Ashwani Kumar arrived at Imphal airport at 3pm.There he was received by Chief Secretary PC Lawmkunga, DGP Shahid Ahmed, Imphal West DC K Radhakumar and Imphal West SP K Jayenta.
On reaching the Raj Bhavan, VK Duggal was given a guard of honour in the presence of Chief Minister O Ibobi and his Council of Ministers.
He would be sworn is as the Governor of Manipur by Manipur High Court Chief Justice Laksh-mikant Mahapatra tomorrow.
