Imphal, December 16 2013: The Director of M/S LK and Sons, Govt Contractor and Suppliers, T Nimai Singh has claimed that the construction work of the Integrated Check Post at Moreh under the Landport Authority of India (Ministry of Home Affairs), is progressing at a fast pace, under the protection provided by the 9 Assam Rifles.
In a statement issued to the press today, T Nimai Singh said that there is no official instruction to discontinue the construction work at the ICP till date.
The Director has extended his gratitude to the 9 Assam Rifles for doing the needful and providing security for the work to progress unhindered.
The Myanmarese Government had earlier claimed that the land where the ICP is to come up falls in their territory.
