Imphal, April 05 2015 : The ban imposed on Nirmalabas High School by the Manipuri Students’ Federation (MSF) has been lifted after school authorities held a consultative meeting with the student organization which lasted for almost four hours at the premises of MSF office today.
Th Udoi Luwang, advisor to MSF in a press meet held at MSF office announced the decision to lift the ban which was imposed since March 21, as school authorities along with the student organisation came to an understanding on the functioning of the school.
He further said that the school authority would now function considering the sentiments of the indigenous populace.

Further he said that student organizations and various Catholic schools specially Nirmalabas High School would coordinate and cooperate to ensure transparent academic atmosphere in future.
Later, he clarified that the meeting was not on admission issues of the said school.
He also said that the school authority of Nirmalabas High School, requested MSF to conduct moral education awareness programme.
Notably, parents and guardians of students studying in Nirmalabas High School had appealed to MSF and KCP (MC) to lift the parallel ban imposed on the institution.
