Imphal, January 25 2014 : Based on specific inputs, PFA sent its rescue team to Khangabok part III and rescued the same today.
The owl was bought by one Saikhom Fajaba of Khangabok from a poacher yesterday at Rs 200.He felt pity for the bird as he saw it being brought by tying its wing together.
He then informed about the bird to one Nabakumar TC, Secretary of Popular Youth club and a national youth awardee.
Nabakumar relayed the information to PFA.
Along with Khundongbam Abung, ward member, the bird was handed over to the PFA, according to a statement.
