Imphal, August 31 2013 : With Director General of Police Yumnam Joykumar attaining the age of service superannuation today, Additional DGP (Home Guard and Prison) Mrinal Kanti Das has assumed the charge of DGP.
An order regarding DGP Y Joykumar’s retirement was issued today by Under Secretary, Department of Personnel Shyam Lal Poonia.

Another order issued by the Under Secretary said that MK Das would assume charge as the DGP Manipur in addition to his normal duties with effect from today until regular arrangements are made in this regard.
