Imphal, September 27 2013 : To study how a corporation functions, two officials of Electricity Department, now converted into a corporation, left Imphal for Tripura today.
Notably, Electricity Department of Tripura was converted into a corporation much earlier and it is now functioning as a corporation.
To study how the Electricity Corporation of Tripura functions, Addl Chief Engineer Dwijen and Deputy Secretary Th Kirankumar left for Agartala today.
The two officials would interact with their Tripura counterparts as well as other employees to gather first hand information about how the Electricity Corporation has been functioning.
Electricity Department of Manipur has been already divided into two companies namely Discom and Holdco.
