Imphal, September 23 2013: A brief scuffle broke out between victim and accused parties at Lamphelpat Court complex as Tamenglong molest case accused appeared before the Court today.
Accused L Iboyaima s/o Mangi of Khurai Ningthoubung Leikai was initially brought before the Court of Tamenglong CJM Binny Ngangom.
However, the Judge observed that the accused must appear before a Special Court as an FIR case has been registered against him under Prevention of Child for Sexual Offence Act 2002 .
Later, Iboyaima was brought before the Court of District and Sessions Judge Manipur West, BK Sharma.
He was remanded to judicial custody for 15 days.
In the meantime, a brief scuffle broke out between victim and accused parties inside the Court complex.
Iboyaima is a Rifleman Driver of 5th Manipur Rifles.
