Lamka, September 22 2013: The CDSU which has served an ultimatum to the State Government than an intense agitation would be launched if the 46 Assam Rifles and valley based surrendered militants were not withdrawn from the district by 22 September has temporarily suspended the proposed agitation based on the assurance given by the Dy Chief Minister and GOC 57 Mountain Division.
Claiming that the issue has become an emotional one for the people of Churachandpur, the CDSU said the district is witnessed to the barbaric nature of the 46AR, time and again, as was the case last night wherein they went against innocent civilians last night.
‘The public have to always bear the brunt of the so called friends of the hill people.
The CDSU will not be stopped by their heinous acts and conducts but would rather use all resources at its disposal for their complete withdrawal from Churachandpur’ .
