GANGTOK, 10 Jan: Maj Gen YVK Mohan, the General Officer Commanding, 17 Mountain Division, called on Governor Shriniwas Patil at Raj Bhawan today. The GoC called on the Governor on assuming command of the Division here and also offered New Year greetings to the Governor, an official communiqué informs.
Maj Gen Mohan, being a keen sportsman and fluent in Nepali language, it is expected that he will help to build goodwill and enhance cooperation between the civil population and military establishment in Sikkim, the release highlights. He has taken over from Maj Gen Devraj Anbu.
