Imphal, September 16 2013: One highly decomposed body a man, suspected to be non-Manipuri was recovered from a stream near Nungdolan between Shanti Khunou and Sibilong along NH-37 yesterday.
The body has been retrieved and deposited at RIMS mortuary.
The deceased appeared to be in his fifties and was 5’8″ in height.
He was of medium built and swarthy complexion and had long hair.
In case nobody comes forward to claim the corpse within five days, it would be disposed off as per the order of the Tamenglong District Magistrate, said a press release issued by the OC of Nungba police station.
