Imphal, September 01 2013: To highlight plight of the journalist community as well as newspaper distributors consequent to threat served to both by an armed group, All Manipur Working Journalists’ Union will organise a silent rally at 10.30 am tomorrow.
Appealing to all journalists as well as newspaper distributors to assemble for the said rally at Manipur Press Club at 10 am, an AMWJU statement issued today conveyed that representatives of the scribes would hand over a memorandum to the chief Minister to highlight problems and insecurity of all involved in newspaper publication.
