Thoubal, September 10 2013: A one-day awareness and training programme for animal farmers of Chandel district was held today at Liwachanging Community Hall under the aegis of Chandel District Animal Farmers’ Welfare Union.
Around 100 farmers attended the programme.
Veterinary and Animal Husbandry lecturer of SIRD Imphal, Dr A Somorendro Singh; Veterinary Officer of ADC Chandel, Dr Shyamcharan Singh and Jt Director of V&AH Chandel, Dr Y Rajendro enlightened the participant farmers on various issues of animal farming.
