Imphal, September 01 2013: In the aftermath of an unknown organisation threatening to target newspaper distributors, All Manipur Newspaper Sales and distributors’ Association has decided to suspend newspaper distribution service from September 2 onwards till the differences between newspaper establishments and the unknown armed group is settled amicably.
The Association also fervently appealed to both the armed group and media houses for an early solution so that newspaper distributors (hawkers) could resume service to the general public.
