Imphal, September 11 2013: The State Cabinet today studied the proposals (for non-plan assistance) it would submit to the 14th Finance Commission which would come into being on April 1 next year.
The proposals would be put forward to Commission’s Chairman YB Reddy and four Members who would visit the State on October 7 and 8.The Cabinet meeting presided by Chief Minister O Ibobi deliberated on the proposals at length.
The Cabinet gave its approval to hike Dearness Allowance of State Government to 72 per cent with effect from October 1 this year.
