Imphal, October 07 2013 : The seven-day BSNL Formation Week celebration, which kick started on October 1, has concluded at the conference hall of Telephone Bhavan today.
Speaking as chief guest, BSNL Imphal Additional General Manager J Lunkim explained the establishment of Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) and its roles in regulating the provision of telecom services.
He also pointed out the necessity of all the operators to provide telecom services on the standards set by TRAI and maintain proper grievance redressal mechanism as formulated by the authority.

J Lunkim further said that BSNL Manipur Assistant General Manager Ch Debendra is the secretary of Telecom Consumer Redressal Regulation, BSNL Manipur and all the information/queries related to TRAI directives/instructions may be addressed to him.
TRAI Representative Y Shanti while speaking at the function appealed to the general public to keep in touch with BSNL regarding their service quality.
She also requested the public to send feedback to the public undertaking so that it may enhance its service.
SSA Manipur DGM (Hqs) RB Madle and BSNL AD (Mktg) A Baleshwar Sharma also attended the function.
