Imphal, October 06 2013: Fancier Abhiram Higher Secondary School, Thoubal celebrated its school week starting from yesterday.
Christened Fancier Week, the school week features sports meet, Teachers’ Day celebration, prize distribution, cultural/freshers’ meet and educational study tour.
As part of the week long celebration, Teachers’ Day was observed today at LS Cinema Hall where Social Welfare Minister AK Mirabai, MLA O Landhoni, Additional Director (U) Dr RK Yaiskul, COHSEM Secretary Sarangjit Khundrakpam and MOBEDS Project Director Md Salauddin Khan were present as presidium members.
The function was opened with offering of floral tributes to late President Dr S Radhakrishnan.
