Imphal, October 03 2013: The chief justice of TNL Karot (Court) AS Mawonshang has administered oath to the newly elected Tangkhul Naga Long (TNL) executives today at TNL Hall here in the presence of Zonal presidents, Election commissioners, observers, headmen and electorate.
The TNL executive who were administered oath of office today are President, Artax A Shimray; Vice President, SD Reisang; Speaker, LM Abel; Deputy Speaker, GS Pemting and VS Whig, Speaker, Western Tangkhul Naga Long.
The elected body will hold the office for 4 years.
Besides the elected members, two members each of Phungva (Committee) will be nominated from the four zones of Tangkhul area while five others will be nominated by the executive with the consent of the President.
