Imphal, October 06 2013: All Manipur Bus Owners’ Federation (AMBOF) has decided to resume normal passenger service along Imphal-Ukhrul route from October 8 .
Following an understanding arrived with the Transport Minister and the MLAs of Ukhrul district, AMBOF’s stir has been suspended for some time in view of the inconvenience being faced by the general public, said a press release.
The federation also urged the civil society organisations of the district to support them in resuming normal passenger service.
The bus owners had suspended service along the Imphal-Ukhrul route for quite some time now, with taxi services following suit.
