Imphal, October 05 2013 : The State Government has discussed about whether the highways passing through the four valley districts of Manipur should be allowed to infringe upon markets located near highways as and when these highways are expanded.
The meeting presided by Chief Minister O Ibobi last evening was participated by Revenue officials, Deputy Commissioners, Ministers and MLAs elected from the valley districts.
During the meeting which lasted till 9 pm, the Chief Mi-nister collected reports from the DCs about the likely situation when the highways are expanded, informed a source.
