Imphal, October 01 2013: One non-Manipuri was found dead near RIMS gate this morning.
The deceased whose age would be around 45 years appeared to be mentally unsound/disabled, said a police source.
It looked like he died there last night.
The corpse has been picked up and deposited at RIMS mortuary.
It is reported that the deceased whose identity could not established yet was staying in the area where he was found dead since a few years back.
The deceased was 5’5″ in height and slim in built.
He had dark complexion and was wearing blue jeans and black jogging shirt.
He also had the words ‘Dhan Ram’ tattooed on his left hand.
Meanwhile, a press release issued by the OC of Lamphel PS said that the corpse would be disposed off with due permission of the authority concerned if nobody comes forward to claim it by 12 noon of October 4 .
