Imphal, February 26 2013: A one-day awareness programme on mental retardation was held today at the State Academy of Training under the aegis of the National Institute for Mentally Handicapped (NIMH) and Social Welfare Department.
The programme inaugurated by Special Secretary (Social Welfare) AK Sinha was attended by many people working in the fields of health, education and media.
The inaugural session was also participated by Social Welfare Director Th Chitra and NIMH Senior Faculty Binapani Mahapatra.
