Liangmai folk song competition

Imphal, February 22 2013: Liangmai Khangkiangdung and Liangmai Writers’ Research Forum would jointly organise the Ist Folk Song Competition based on Liangmai community at the Community hall of Namdialong, Kanglatongbi on 26th February, 2013 .

The aim of the competition is to collect folk songs and impart them to younger generation orally as well as in written form, said Adibo Newmai, President of Liangmai Writers’ Research Forum in a statement.
