Imphal, February 24 2013 : Directorate of Education (S) will observe National Science Day on February 28 at GM Hall.
As part of the observation, an eminent scholar would deliver a popular Science talk on the topic, ‘Genetically modified crops and food security’ and an interaction programme of the students with the scholar will follow.
The Directorate also requested heads of the schools to send 10 students each, preferably Class IX and X, for participation in the quiz contest (written and oral) and interaction programme by February 27 .
The students under one guide teacher must report to the Programme Officer (Science) at GM Hall at 10 am on February 28, said a press release.
