Imphal, February 25 2013: A nine-member delegations from the State led by Oinam Rajen, secretary, Loktak Area Fishermen’s Union, Manipur will attend the National Ramsar Sites Stakeholders Meet and Wetland Conservation Seminar at Alappuzha, Kerala from March 3-5 .
The Manipur delegations will use the platform to draw national and international attention to the historical, cultural, economic and ecological value of Loktak and wetlands of the Manipur valley, informed a statement.
