Imphal, February 27 2013: A one day farmers’ training programme was organised under the supervision of District Agriculture Officer, Imphal West today at Lairenjam Mayai Leikai.
The training programme, held under the National Food Security Mission, aimed to motivate the farmers of the area in the cultivation of hybrid watermelon.
Dr M Thoithoi Singh, Programme Coordinator, KVK Thoubal and S Sumangol Singh, SMS, KVK Thoubal spoke as the resource persons.
