Imphal, February 26 2013: The first death anniversary of former chief of Khongbal Tangkhul, Sangreisui Zimik was observed today at the community hall of Khongbal Tangkhul village.
Erecting memorial stone and paying floral tribute to the departed village chief marked the anniversary observance programme.
Amongst others, the programme was attended by President of Meetei National Front, Chingsubam Wangambi; publisher of a monthly magazine, Pandam, Chingsubam Khuman Leima; Vice-chairman of Sadar Hills ADC, Paojalet Touthang and chiefs of various villages attended the programme.
