Imphal, February 20 2013: A two-member delegation of Confederation of Indian Industries will arrive here on February 22 to oversee preparation for the BCIM Car Rally, which is scheduled to reach the State capital on February 26 .
The advanced team of CII, including its director, and officials of Manipur Government would assess ongoing preparation for the rally in the State.
It is said that the joint teams’ focus would be on setting up of welcome gates, decoration, car washing points as well as cultural programmes to be organised for the rally participants.
Another assignment for the advance team is to ensure swift clearance for the rally participants by cross-checking passports of the participants with Myanmar authorities.
