Imphal, January 31 2013: A three-day workshop on methodology and clinical epidemiology for North East region was inaugurated today at RIMS Jubilee Hall by RIMS Director Prof S Sekharjit.
Apart from guides and post graduate students of RIMS, six resource persons from AIIMS, Maulana Azad Medical College, Seva Gram Institute of Medical Sciences namely Pawan Sharma, Subodh Gupta, S Ramji, Suresh Ughade, Manoj Das and Nalin Mehta are participating in the workshop.
The main objective of the workshop is to familiarise the research methodology among the post graduate, MD/MS students, said a press release issued by the RIMS media advisor.
Due to the ongoing inspection by the Medical Council of India, representatives from Sikkim and Guwahati, however, could not make it to the workshop, it added.
