Imphal, February 15 2013: A nine-year old girl who was physically assaulted on Feb 2 at Ukhrul was taken to Imphal by Ukhrul CWC, accompanied by the District Programme Officer, ICDS today.
The victim was taken to JN Hospital due to absence of orthopaedic specialist in Ukhrul hospital.
According to a statement issued by CWC, Ukhrul, medical examination was conducted on the victim today and she reportedly needs further treatment.
At the same time, the Ukhrul CWC extended gratitude to Social Welfare Commissioner L Haokip, A Shishak, Deputy Director Binobala Nongmeikapam, CWO and Soroja Devi, PO, ICDS for their concern and assistance.
