Imphal, February 13 2013: A team of Imphal East district police commandos arrested three KCP (MC) cadres from Ereima Lai Manak of Lamboikhul Mayai Leikai today around 9.45am, a police statement said.
The arrested cadres were Potshangbam Sanajaoba Singh (31) s/o P Pishak Singh and Huiningshungbam Rajesh Meitei (31) s/o (H) Shamungou Meitei, both from Lamboikhul Makha Leikai and Sairem Rameshwor Singh (35) s/o S Irabot of Lamboikhul Awang Leikai.
They admitted to have involved in extortion of money from Tata Magic Association of Uyumpok side, general public, Govt officials etc, the IE police statement said.
