Imphal, February 20 2013: The proscribed United National Liberation Front (UNLF) triggered a blast near the BSF Sector Headquarters for Manipur and Nagaland located at Koirengei along NH-2 here this morning.
Police source said the explosion took place near a Dispensary at Luwangsang-bam, which is just 300 metres away from the BSF Sector headquarters around 6.10 am today.
No casualty has been reported in the blast.
Meanwhile, the proscribed UNLF has claimed that the explosion was triggered by a demolition team of the outfit’s armed wing, MPA.
The attack was launched against a BSF patrol team, claimed the UNLF.
