Imphal, February 21 2013: Water supply to areas covered by Kangchup Extension Plant (which feeds zonal reservoirs at Nepra Menjor, Sangaiprou and Chingtham Leikai); Singda Plant (feeding reservoirs at Lalambung, Cheraoching and Old State Assembly) and Khagempalli, Kwakeithel areas, Kwakeithel Thiyam Leikai area, Tera areas will be changed/affected due to the receding water level of Singda Dam.
A statement issued by the PHED today urged the consumers to bear with the inconvenience and use water economically during the lean period.
