Imphal, February 16, 2013: The Athletics Sports Association, Singjamei Kongba Road hailed the act of bravery displayed by a six year old boy Sachinanda s/o Khangembam Nabakumar, who reportedly saved a two-year old boy from drowning in a pond located within the residential premises of Dr Khangembam Sachikumar located at Singjamei Wangma Bheigyabati Leikai, Kongba Road.
At the same time, the Yumnam Huidrom and Thiyam Leishangthem United Youth Club lauded the courageous act of a three-year old girl, Elina Laishram d/o L Ibochouba in alerting the public when she saw a two-year old boy, Gil Christ falling into a pond.
