Kohima, February 18 2013 : In a shocking incident, the hacked body of a teenaged girl was found at Dimapur district today, with the autopsy confirming she was raped before murder.
Police said people moving in the Lingrijan ground area of the colony spotted the body of the 13-year old during the morning hours lying near the Panchayat Hall.
The post-mortem report stated that the girl belonging to a non-Naga family was raped and hacked with a sharp weapon on head.
The Class IV student of Woodliz School, Firing Range Dimapur was staying with her aunt.
