Imphal, February 01, 2013: The 30 Assam Rifles of 9 Sector under the aegis of HQ IGAR(S) will organise a National Integration Tour to Delhi and Dehradun for 25 children and three teachers hailing from different parts of the State, said a PRO IGAR (S) release.
It is informed that the tour will include interaction of the children with prominent personalities and visit to various historical, cultural, educational and places of tourist interest in Delhi and Dehradun.
The tour will be spread over a period of two weeks starting from February 4. The aim of the tour is to give the local school children an insight into the progress of the country, provide them opportunity to understand culture, traditions and customs of different parts of the country as also spread better awareness about the rich culture and traditions of people of Manipur, added the release.
