Imphal, March 20 2013: All Tribal Disabled Union, Manipur (ATDUM) has threatened Manipur Government that it would boycott the upcoming scheduled Teacher’s Eligibility Exam (TET) if the Government fails to concede its demand, reports NNN.
ATDUM has demanded that the Government should arrange separate TET exam centre for the differently-abled tribal people in Manipur.
It had submitted a representation to the State Education Minister on the same demand last month.
Letminthang Haokip, information secretary, ATDUM told Newmai News Network on Wednesday the union will boycott the upcoming TET exam if the state Government denies its demand.
Council of Higher Secondary School (COHSEM) will conduct the TET exam on March 24 .
