Imphal, March 23 2013 : Major General Konsam Himalay Singh,YSM, Infantry / Headquarters 25th Infantry Division, of Manipur was among 17 armed forces personnel who have been conferred Ati Vishisht Seva Medals by President of India Pranab Mukherjee, who is also the Supreme Commander of Indian Armed Forces during a ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhawan, New Delhi today.
In all 14 Shaurya Chakras, 18 Param Vishisht Seva Medals, two Uttam Yudh Seva Medals, two Bar to Ati Vishisht Seva Medals and 17 Ati Vishisht Seva Medals were conferred to Armed Forces personnel for their extreme devotion to duty and distinguished service of an exceptional order during the ceremony today.
