Imphal, March 25, 2013: On various demands, including the demand for pension parity and regularisation/absorption of part time workers, the Joint Forum of Manipur Rural Bank Officers’ Association and Manipur Rural Bank Employees’ Association has decided to go on strike on March 30. According to a statement, the demands raised by the Bank employees, among others, included formation of National Rural Bank of India, adequate manpower by conducting recruitment and through promotion, extension of all other allowances and benefits including computer increment and representation of workmen and officer in the Board of Management.
